"Psychic Research on Spirituality & Health at Holos University"

Holos University Graduate Seminary is a greater Kansas City research seminary with faculty and graduate students from around the world. Join Ann Nunley, Ph.D., Dean of Academics, and Bob Nunley, Ph.D., Dean of Faculty at Holos University for an evening of discussion and brainstorming in which they present research that is being done to support the efficacy of psychic studies generally.

Ann and Bob have chosen three dissertations to discuss in depth: one to illustrate research on the fundamental nature of human consciousness; one to illustrate research on physical health; and one to illustrate working with emotional health. The one on the nature of human consciousness is Karla Curtis' study, Spirit Communications: Experiments with Mediums, 2011. The one on physical health is Kenjiro Tsubono's study, The Effects of Distant Healing Performed by a Spiritual Healer on Type 2 Diabetes: A Randomized Controlled Trial, 2010. The one on emotional health is Phyllis G. Hoover's The Effects of the Inner Counselor Process for Adolescents and its Conceptual Materials on the Well-being of Youth in Unity Churches, 2009.

There are 71 dissertations posted on the Holos University website (www.holosuniversity.net). You can click on any one dissertation titles and it will link you to an abstract of 250 to 300 words.

Ann completed her Masters of Fine Arts at the University of Kansas in 1963 and her Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology at Greenwich University in 2000. She has served on the faculty of Holos University since 2001. She also served as Provost of Holos University from 2001 to 2005 and as Dean of Academics since 2008. Since 2009 she has served as president of the All Faiths Church of Spirituality and Health, a Missouri Church, which owns and operates Holos University. Bob completed his Masters of Science degree in Geography, Minor in Political Science, at Marshall University in 1953 and his Ph.D. in Geography, Minor in Economics, at the University of Michigan in 1958. He served on the faculty of the University of Kansas from 1962 to 2002. He is Dean Emeritus of the Energy Medicine College, Greenwich University and Professor Emeritus of Holos and Dean from 2001 to 2005 and from 2008 to present.
